Zedric Zebedee Grosvenor

PhD Student

Zedric is a PhD student who is interested in surface chemistry and fire research. Broadly, this involves looking at how flammable components may be recovered from a surface for forensic interest, or, prevented from being a fire hazard when present on a surface such as on clothing or skin.

Previously, Zedric studied an MPhil in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, after having been a secondary teacher for several years. Prior to this, Zedric was an undergraduate student at Anglia Ruskin University, studying Forensic Science. He then undertook a PGCE in Secondary Education (Chemistry) at the University of Bedfordshire. Zedric is always keen on any opportunity for outreach work to engage others in the chemical sciences.
